La Somalie, pays pauvre de la Corne de l’Afrique, subit une r\u00e9surgence des attentats des shebab, dont les militants sont li\u00e9s \u00e0 Al-Qa\u00efda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ces derniers ont pris le contr\u00f4le de dizaines de villes et villages depuis le lancement de leur offensive au d\u00e9but de l’ann\u00e9e, effa\u00e7ant la quasi-totalit\u00e9 des avanc\u00e9es r\u00e9alis\u00e9es par le gouvernement somalien lors de sa campagne militaire de 2022 et 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une cour martiale de Mogadiscio avait r\u00e9cemment condamn\u00e9 \u00e0 la peine capitale les deux soldats, l’un pour avoir r\u00e9ceptionn\u00e9 un engin explosif, l’autre pour l’avoir attach\u00e9 sous le lit d’un commandant de r\u00e9giment tu\u00e9 le 15 juillet dernier. La bombe avait ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9clench\u00e9e \u00e0 distance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab\u00a0Ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 ex\u00e9cut\u00e9s (lundi) pour leur implication dans (cet) assassinat\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Hassan Siyad Mohamed, l’un des procureurs de la cour martiale, dans un communiqu\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab\u00a0Tous ceux ayant des liens avec (les shebab), nous vous trouverons et nous vous conduirons devant un peloton d’ex\u00e9cution\u00a0\u00bb, a menac\u00e9 dans ce m\u00eame texte le colonel Liban Ali Yarow, pr\u00e9sident de la cour supr\u00eame militaire, pr\u00e9sent lors de l’ex\u00e9cution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une femme ayant transmis l’engin aux deux hommes est actuellement d\u00e9tenue, ont indiqu\u00e9 plusieurs sources militaires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette ex\u00e9cution est la seconde \u00e0 avoir lieu en moins d’une semaine en Somalie. Jeudi, trois membres des shebab d\u00e9clar\u00e9s coupables d’avoir tu\u00e9 des agents gouvernementaux dans Mogadiscio avaient \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 fusill\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
